Year 11 Options

When students complete Year 11, their statutory education comes to an end, and they must decide on the next stage of their educational or career journey.

Below is a list of the possible A Level and Level 3 courses currently being considered for delivery at Bedwas High School as part of the Free Choice Survey (additional subjects will also be available through the wider consortium at St. Cenydd and St. Martins schools).

The key dates for the Year 11 Options process are:

• Thursday 11^th December 2025 - Year 11 Options Information Evening.
• Thursday 11^th December 2025 - Subject Information and Sixth Form Prospectus available on school website.
• Thursday 11^th December 2025 - Free Choice Survey available on Google Classrooms.
• Friday 19^th December 2025 - Free Choice Survey deadline.
• Throughout January 2026 - Taster lessons with Year 11 pupils.
