Bedwas High School

From Monday 15th June the school canteen will become completely cashless and pupils will not be able to pay with cash or top their account up with cash in school anymore. 

The only way to top up accounts and to add money on to pupil accounts / fobs will be through the UPAY app. This is a simple and straight forward process that most parents already use. Please see the guide through the link below on how to do this.

As part of the registration process you will need an Affiliate ID for your child, if you do not have this you will need to ring the CCBC Dinner Card Helpline on 01443 864055 and they will be able to provide you with your child's code. 

Our school canteen is run by Caerphilly County Borough Council and we, as a school, are not involved and do not have access to any of the operations of the canteen so for any queries at all you will need to contact the above number and not the school. 

Please ensure that your child's account has funds on it in readiness for 15th June.

End of Term Letter - July 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming our pupils back to school tomorrow!!
A reminder of the slight change of plan for the first day back.
Yr7 - to arrive and start school as normal at 08:30.
Yr8, 9, 10 & 11 - to arrive at break time - 10:45.
the school day will end as normal for all year groups at 14:40.
Thursday - school day will run as normal for all year groups starting at 08:30.

Homework Club will start back next week on Wednesday 9th September.

There has been a change to days and times, it will now run Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:40pm to 4:00pm.
